Online Applications (on the website of ESIC at www.esichennai.org) are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the posts of Paramedical for Tamil Nadu State. The detail of posts & number of vacancies are as under :
1. Dental Technician
No. of Posts : 03 Posts (UR – 02 ; OBC – 01)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.2400/-
Qualification : i) 10+2 / Higher Secondary with Science Subjects from a Recognized Board ii) 2. Should have diploma (2 Years duration) in Dental Mechanics/ Technician from an Institute Recognized by the Dental Council of India for such purpose. iii) Should be registered with the Dental Council of India/ State Dental Council.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 27 Years
2. Social Worker
No. of Posts : 05 Posts (UR – 04 ; OBC – 01)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.2400/-
Qualification : Degree / Diploma in social work from a Central Govt/ State Govt/ AICTE recognized institution preferably with one year experience in family planning, Social Work/ Health Education/ Training.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 37 Years
3. Laboratory Assistant
No. of Posts : 11 Posts (UR – 04 ; OBC – 04 ; SC – 03)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.2000/-
Qualification : Senior Secondary/ 10+2 or equivalent qualification taken with Diploma in MLT from an Institute recognized by the AICTE
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 32 Years. (Govt. Employees Up to 37 Yrs)
4. Junior Medical Record Technician
No. of Posts : 02 Posts (Ur – 01 ; OBC – 01)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.1900/-
Qualification : i) 10+2 or equivalent qualification ii) Should have attended at least six months training course for Medial Record Technician in a recognized Institute Or Should have at least Six month experience of working in the record registration and the Statistical Section of a recognized/ registered Hospital specially in coding and indexing work. iii) Should have working knowledge of computer.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 32 Years. (Govt. Employees Up to 37 Yrs)
5. Dresser – 04 Posts UR
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.1800/-
Qualification : i) Matriculation Or Equivalent from recognized Board ii) Two Years experience in application of Plasters in an Orthopedic Unit of a register/recognized Hospital
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 32 Years. (Govt. Employees Up to 37 Yrs)
6. Nursing Orderly
No. of Posts : 49 Posts (UR – 29 ; OBC – 16 ; SC – 04)
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 – 20200/- + GP Rs.1800/-
Qualification : i) Matriculation Or Equivalent from recognized Board ii) Elementary knowledge of First Aid with 1 Year Experience with handling and dressing wounds in Govt. approved/ registered Nursing Home/ Hospital.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 32 Years. (Govt. Employees Up to 37 Yrs)
Age Relaxation (for all the above Posts) : Upper age limit is relax-able for Govt. Servant & Employee of ESI Corporation, SC/ST – 5 years ; OBC – 3 years ; PH – 10 years ; EX-SM as per Rules.
Application fee : Rs.125/- for General and OBC Candidates (NO fee for SC/ST/PH/PH/EX-SM/Female/Departmental
Candidates/Govt. Employee candidates).
Mode of Fee Payment : candidates are advised to remit the requisite fee in Indian bank at any branch. For remittance of fee, candidates have to generate the prescribed challan from ESIC website. The Account Number in which the amount of fee is to be deposited is available on challan. One copy of challan duly signed and stamped along with deposit scroll/ journal number should be collected from the Bank for filling up necessary details in the application form. The challan received from the bank will have to be sent along with the hard copy of the application form and relevant documents for the post.
